Path to the Watering Hole was inspired by the empty, vast farm fields where cows, cattle, horses or wildlife may travel in order to seek water. The pond is surrounded by a brittle crown of thorns as if at the top of the earth’s head where sky reflects down onto the surface of the water connecting the heavens and the earth. In the distance, traveling on an arch in opposition to the animal’s pathway is a road in which mankind travels by unaware of nature’s connection to heaven.
