The Tiger Orchid Illustration was painted from the full sized plant that sat on the drafting table. The original painting was done on 400 Bristol Series paper 30" x 40" in watercolor and gouache.

This painting has been exhibited in a jury select exhibit on orchids with the Longwood Gardens, Kennet Square, PA
