The artist was inspired to paint the rugosa rose which grows wild along the New England coast.
The Rugosa Rose, has been exhibited at the Audubon Society of Bristol, Rhode Island and at the Audubon Society of Greenwich Connecticut. The original painting was done using watercolor & gouache to the actual life-size of the Rugosa Rose.
